Welcome to Troop 2, West Orange, NJ

Troop 2 has been meeting in West Orange since 1916 — making us one of the oldest continuously operating Scout troops in New Jersey. This spring, we're opening our doors to girls for the first time as we move toward Family Troop status.

We run a youth-led program built around real outdoor adventures — monthly camping trips, hiking, whitewater rafting, cooking in the backcountry, and community service projects that make a difference in West Orange. Our Scouts plan and lead their own meetings and trips.

Our Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster hold Wood Badge, the highest adult leader training in Scouting America. We take program quality seriously.

Meetings: Mondays, 7:30–9:00 PM · Kelly Elementary School Cafeteria (on nights when West Orange Schools are in session)

The first meeting is always free. No experience necessary.
